i have only got 1 socket in 1 of my rooms is it safe to plug in a double adaptor then 2 4way extension leads?

i haven’t enough plug sockets in 1 of my bedrooms, the is 1 single plug socket is it safe to put a single 2 way adaptor into it then 2 4 port extension leads in so i have 8 sockets running off the original single?

you will be quite safe if you use a modern adapter that has a fuse fitted (same idea as a 13amp plug top) this will prevent you from overloading any cables etc
